Ever since Arctic Monkeys took to the stage, they have subscribed to the title of England’s biggest and most influential band. The album ‘Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not’ (2006) is not only the fastest-selling debut in UK history but also widely regarded as one of the very best debut albums ever. Since then, the Sheffield quartet have continued to refine their edgy, literate indie rock and never cease to surprise.

This fall, Arctic Monkeys have released two absolutely stunning singles from their upcoming album ‘The Car’, which will be released on October 21. “Sci-fi is off the table, we are back to earth” singer Alex Turner has promised fans, and judging by the 60’s colored production and haunting lyrics, we are in for another masterpiece.

On April 29, the legends of the Arctic Monkeys come to the Avicii Arena in Stockholm for their first ever major arena gig in Sweden, and all signs point to it being a night for the history books.
