Canadian progressive rock band SAGA is back with a new album and visiting Stockholm for a concert at Berns on October 23, 2022!

SAGA is current with their 23rd studio album “Symmetry”, which features acoustic versions of some of the band’s classic songs like “Wind Him Up”, “Say Goodbye To Hollywood” and “Tired World”. The idea for the album came after the so-called farewell tour in 2017, where they acted as support act for themselves by opening with an acoustic set.

Farewell tour notwithstanding, SAGA has since managed to complete yet another world tour and relentlessly continue recording new material. So now it’s time to hit the road again and meet the fans – the story of SAGA continues and new history will be made!

The band was formed in 1977 in Toronto. They took the name SAGA because on their first four albums they had a consistent theme, like a fairy tale. They created a new sound and successful hits like “On the Loose” and “Humble Stance” are still being played on radio stations around the world. During their long career, in addition to their many studio albums, the group has released nine live albums. They have received numerous awards and toured extensively on our globe, and over the years have built up a steady and devoted following.

On stage we see Michael Sadler (vocals, keyboards, bass), Jim Gilmour (keyboards, clarinet, vocals), Ian Crichton (guitar), Dusty Chesterfield (bass, keyboards), and Mike Thorne (drums, vocals).
