Mental health is often underestimated in workplace which is one of the greatest contributors to stress. Learn how to deal with overload of work and how to prevent a mental burn out on this online seminar.

Welcome to an important seminar and meet five people who have suffered from mental illness at work.

Free seminar by Hjärnkoll Stockholm on 14 October at 14-16 at ABF-huset, Sandlersalen. The seminar will also be broadcast digitally.

Mental illness accounts for the majority of sick leave and causes great losses for society as well as for those affected. How can we detect and prevent mental ill health at work? Meet the Hjärnkoll ambassadors, who have themselves been affected and hear them tell what could have helped them. You will also have the opportunity to ask them questions!

Per Hansson is the working-class boy from Norrland who made a career for himself as a manager in heavy industry. But he self-medicated with alcohol and lost everything. Today he has a bipolar diagnosis.

Anna Morlin was a social services officer who wanted to please everyone. Squeezed between the organisation’s cost-cutting requirements and the needs of her clients, she suffered from exhaustive depression that led to a suicide attempt.

Mark Ennis was the perfect sales manager, outperforming everyone else. But that came at a price and led to his crash. Today, he has an ADHD diagnosis.

Irene Rösberg was a parent of young children and working as a marketing manager, when she slowly began to notice that something wasn’t right. When she finally took sick leave, it was too late.

Ingela Rudler made great demands on herself as a project manager. At the same time, she wanted to be the perfect mother to her young child. Eventually, everything fell apart and she couldn’t function any more.

Hjärnkoll Stockholm’s head of operations Lou Rehnlund also describes the situation regarding mental illness at work today.
