It´s time for Stockholm Summer Games! If you´re interested in horses and seeing them run wild while having fun, then come along to see some great action from beautiful breeds.

1. The competition is organised according to the Swedish Equestrian Federation’s Competition Regulations (TR). The competition is open to all members of district associations affiliated to the Swedish Equestrian Federation.

2. The horse/pony must be registered in Svensk Travsport (ST). Horses registered in the corresponding foreign trotting federation are also eligible to compete. The horse must have full ID details (horse passport).

3. The horse must be vaccinated to participate. The horse must be fully healthy and must not have shown any signs of contagious disease in the weeks prior to the start. The horse must not have stayed in a stable where a contagious disease has occurred, nor in a stable where such a disease is suspected, during the last three weeks before the start of the competition. The horse must not have been administered any unauthorised medicines or treated with any unauthorised medicines before the start. The horse must be in competitive condition for the level of competition in question.

4. Competitors participate at their own risk, which means that the organiser does not take out any insurance for you, so please check your accident insurance. It is the responsibility of the competitor to be fully aware of the rules prior to each competition, have a duty to ensure that they are a member and have not taken any unauthorised medical preparations.

Please indicate your full name, address and telephone number, the full name and registration number of the horse and the classes in which you wish to compete.
Maximum 3 entries per horse/day.
The team may start a maximum of 2 starts/group, 1 start/class, a total of 3 starts per day. Registration deadline is 10 July 23:59.

6. Entry fees
Team package, 1 team = 3 participants 12 starts i.e. 1 start each in each branch 3300: – each team pays everything in full when the invoice arrives.
Supplement of starts in addition to the team package and individual competitors 320kr/start
Entry fees are paid when the invoice with the total amount arrives to the email from which the entry is made. This is because we treat teams and individual starts separately at different times.
(Note! Everyone who participates in the whole meeting will receive a contribution from the federation of 150:-/equine, deducted from the invoice)

7. In case of insufficient entries, the competition may be cancelled.

8. By registering, you agree that we may publish your name on the start/results list and that we may take photographs of you on the course during the day.

9. Registration may be withdrawn before 10 July at 23:59 without payment of a fee. Cancellation must be made by e-mail to: ridtravaresthlm@hotmail.com
After the closing date, the fee can only be refunded on presentation of a veterinary/medical certificate. The certificate must be received by the organiser within 4 weeks after the competition.

10. Late registrations will be accepted, subject to availability, until 20 July at 11.50 p.m. for an increased registration fee. Teams have priority. The increased fee is 50kr/class i.e. 600kr/team. Single starts if space is available will be processed between 21 July – 24 July at 18:00.

11. Entered teams that do not show up without cancellation must pay an additional fee of 100kr/start in addition to the start/entry fee within 14 days.

12. The competition takes place at Berga Naturbruksgymnasium
* Showing takes place on riding arena 31*91 meters * Jumping takes place on riding arena 31*91 meters * Trotting takes place in riding arena 20*60 meters
* Dressage on riding arena with dressage fence 20*40 meters
* Show jumping outdoors on a riding arena 23*38 meters.
In case of bad weather, the classes can be moved at short notice to the riding hall. All competitors will be given the opportunity to inspect the course and surrounding area before the competition and decide for themselves whether they wish to compete in the prevailing conditions. If a competitor considers that he/she does not wish to take part because of the nature of the course or the environment, he/she has the right to withdraw freely, with reimbursement of any fees paid.

13. Competition schedule
Friday 29/7 Exhibition at 17:00. (Judge: Isabella Mongelli)
Saturday 30/7 Dressage (Judge: Isabella Mongelli) and Trotting (Judge: Marie Pettersson)
Sunday 31/7 Jumping (Helén Andersson)

14. Start lists and rider announcement will be presented on the district facebook page and website by 25/7.

15. Stabling and accommodation is available. Priority for teams. Accommodation 300kr/day/person or 250kr/day/person without duvet and pillow.
Meetingbox 800kr incl 1 chip bale or 2 chip pellets.
Extra bedding can be bought, chip bale 70 kr/piece or chip pellets 50 kr/piece
Day box + one night 500kr incl 1 chip bale or 2 chip pellets.

16. General information:
-The two best results from each team in each event will count for the team competition.
-Scoring see attached annex for calculation of points. The LAGs with the highest total points will win the competition meeting. In each class both individual placings will be decided as in the “normal competition” and team placings in the branch. NOTE: in each branch, the TWO best results of each team count.
– All teams will be given some kind of responsibility to help with e.g., feeding, emptying garbage, mopping lanes etc. (Cannot buy their way out of their responsibilities)
– All teams are welcome at the facility from 14:00
– After the last start we will finish with a big prize giving and goodie bags for all riders! – If you cannot find a team to belong to, please let us know by email that you would like to ride in a team and we will try to put together teams for all of you who have notified us.
– Sunday will end with the awards ceremony for the summer games themselves.

17. Protests and other objections must be made in writing on the spot and submitted to the competition director. Prepared forms will be available at the secretariat.
