Ekhagens (Lappis beach)

Ekhagens or “Lappis beach” is one of the many municipal swimming places in Stockholm. With beautiful nature around, it´s a great place to take a dip in hot weather. As all municipal places, it´s always open and welcomes all.

Ekhagens strandbad, commonly refered to as “Lappis beach” is a public beack at Lilla Värtan on Norra Djurgården. There’s no parking, changing rooms, or café on-site. You can reach Lappis Beach by taking bus no. 50 to Lektorstigen and then take a short walk.

The bath is located near Lappkärrsberget on Norra Djurgården. It is run by the Royal Djurgården Administration.

The bath is accessible from Ekhagsvägen via paved park paths. There is no parking slot at the bath.

During the summer, the bathing area is marked in the water with buoy lines.

Lifesaving equipment is available at the bath.

According to the general local regulations of the city of Stockholm, dogs are not allowed on the beach from 1 June to 31 August (guide and assistance dogs are not allowed).

The bathing site has no toilets or changing facilities.

Kiosk and catering:
There is no kiosk or catering facilities at the bathing site.

Activities:
There are no barbecue facilities at the baths.

There is no sauna.

Parking space:
There is no parking space at the bath.
