International festival Fest Anča

The screening is composed of films that have been selected for the International Children’s Film Competition and screened at the international festival Fest Anča 2023.

In the International Competition section, Fest Anča presents the best short animated films from around the world for children that are not in mainstream cinema distribution. The selected films are different from mainstream productions and present original animation to children. These are titles that are imaginative, work more with children’s imagination and stimulate children to think further about film and deepen their relationship with art. Nine films made in the last two years are included in the International Children’s Animation Competition.

The 16th edition of the Fest Anča International Animation Festival is around the corner! Come and see the best that has emerged from the world of animation in the last year, as well as the quirks and oddities that only animated film can materialise. In addition to the screenings, we have prepared a rich accompanying programme in the form of discussions, concerts and unforgettable parties.

Fest Anča is also open to the youngest viewers. For parents with children we have prepared screenings and workshops again this year.
