Does performance art have your heart? Since the 1980s, the Roma Europa Festival has been delighting audiences with its ode to contemporary art in all its forms. Expect plenty of ballet performances, solo piano concerts, contemporary dance performances, installations and live art, theatrical performances, live bands, musical and visual performances, independent films, concerts by the philharmonic orchestra, and even a children’s playground.
Curious to know more? One example is the Mutual Control performance in which reality and artificial intelligence meet as a bot on the screen sings along with a live pianist! With so much on the program and so many performances, the festival takes place over three months toward the end of the year, and is set up in about 20 different venues in Rome. The festival takes place in multiple venues, including the Teatro Olimpico and the Auditorium Parco de la Musica.
