The unusual installation that you can visit in Prague is hidden in Prague’s Municipal Library! An Infinite Tower of books is also called Idiom and is a long-term art installation where 8000 of books are stacked in a cylindrical tower. In case you are wondering how it is possible that it is infinite, mirrors are placed at the bottom and the top which give the exhibit this illusion. This tear-shaped opening on one side of the tower allows visitors to peek in and experience what it would be like to drown in a book well.
The installation is by a Slovak artist Matej Kren.
Location: Prague Municipal Library (Městská knihovna v Praze)
