Visit this year’s edition of the Night of Literature on 21 September at Kampa and Mala Strana. The event aims to promote modern European literature in new translations in an unusual way, through a series of public readings by actors in attractive or otherwise inaccessible places.
It is organised by the Czech Centres and European cultural institutes and embassies. The readings take place annually in parallel at all venues from 18.00 to 23.00 (at 15-minute intervals. Thus, during one hour, one passage is read twice at each place and two groups of spectators are exchanged.
