Christmas Market on náměstí Míru

The Czech Christmas Markets at Náměstí Míru 2025 will take place from November 20 to December 24, 2025, on Náměstí Míru in Prague 2, once again transforming Vinohrady into one of the most enchanting Advent spots in the city.

Every day from 10:00 to 20:00, visitors can enjoy a delightful mix of scents, lights, and traditions that bring the true festive spirit to life.

Around the Basilica of St. Ludmila, dozens of stalls will offer the classic assortment of Czech Christmas markets — mistletoe, Advent wreaths, candles, tree ornaments, nativity scenes, as well as handmade decorations, toys, jewelry, ceramics, and traditional crafts. You’ll also find textiles with Christmas motifs, knitted gloves and scarves, fragrant incense, “františky,” and sparklers — all the essentials of Czech Christmas.

Lovers of festive treats can indulge in gingerbread, sweets, marzipan, dried fruit, nuts, roasted chestnuts, and honey-based products including mead. To warm up, visitors can enjoy mulled wine, grog, punch, hot tea, or coffee. The food stalls will also offer grilled specialties, sausages, pancakes, and other quick bites perfect for enjoying on the spot.

The Czech Christmas Markets at Náměstí Míru are among the most beloved in Prague — not only thanks to their magical atmosphere between St. Ludmila’s Church and the Vinohrady Theatre, but also because of their focus on traditional goods and local Czech artisans. It’s an ideal place to shop for Christmas gifts, decorations, festive treats, or simply enjoy a peaceful moment with a hot drink in the midst of the Advent bustle.
