Grébovka park

Discover one of the most picturesque parks in Prague – Grébovka, also known as Havlíčkovy sady, which will enchant you with its Italian Renaissance atmosphere.

It is located on the southeastern slope of Vinohrady, between Rybalkova Street, the Botič stream, and Vršovice.

The park features romantic fountains, ponds, cascading water features, pavilions, statues, and a magical artificial cave – the Grotta – where you can explore hidden rooms, tunnels, and frescoes with Neptune. The dominant feature of the park is the Neo-Renaissance Villa Gröbe, built between 1871–1888, designed by Antonín Barvitius, with richly decorated interiors (frescoes, sculptures).

The slopes are home to a historic vineyard and a beautiful wine gazebo, where today you can taste local wines such as Pinot, Müller-Thurgau, and Cabernet – all while enjoying a panoramic view of the city.

Seasonal events take place in Havlíčkovy sady: picnics, wine harvest festivals, FitFest, live concerts, and in winter, ice skating and sledding – making the park attractive all year round. It’s perfect for romantic walks, family outings, or quiet moments with a glass of wine and a stunning view of Prague.
