From September 21 to 27, Negroni Week will take place at the Holešovice Market in Prague, during which several local bars and restaurants will focus on one of Italy’s most famous cocktails, the Negroni.
Six establishments from across the market complex will participate in the event, including Burza #4, Mezcalita Bar, Bistro Kubar, Bar78 by Bublina, SKÔ, and Cukrárna Myšák. Each will present its own take on this bittersweet drink, allowing visitors to sample several different variations throughout the week.
Negroni Week functions as a “bar crawl.” Instead of a single large festival venue, visitors can visit individual establishments at the Holešovice Market one by one and compare how the same basic cocktail can vary depending on the specific bar and its bartenders.
If you sample a Negroni from all six venues, you’ll also receive a special reward. All you have to do is pick up a NEGRONI WEEK PAS at any of the venues offering Negronis and collect stickers for each new Negroni you try.
The event is part of the international Negroni Week, which combines cocktail culture with support for the Slow Food movement. Admission to the Prague portion of the event is free; individual drinks, of course, are paid for separately.
