Open That Bottle Night at the Botanical Garden

Open That Bottle Night at Vinotéka sv. Kláry in the Prague Botanical Garden will offer a unique opportunity on Saturday, February 22, 2025, to taste archival wines in the beautiful setting of one of Prague’s most famous vineyards.

This global event, known as “The Night You Open That Bottle,” is designed for all who have a special bottle of wine in their collection but have yet to find the right occasion to open it.

For this special night, Vinotéka sv. Kláry will offer a limited selection of past vintages that are no longer commonly available. Visitors can look forward to unique wines from the vineyard’s archive and enjoy the chance to taste exceptional vintages that have matured under ideal conditions. The entire day will be dedicated to discovering the flavors and aromas of carefully selected wines, whose quality and distinctive character are the result of both the natural conditions of the sv. Klára vineyard and expert winemaking craftsmanship.

The highlight of the event will be two guided tastings at 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM. These tastings will not only provide the opportunity to sample exclusive archival wines but also include an engaging presentation about their origin, aging process, and the ideal conditions for enjoying them. Participation in the tasting is by prior reservation only, with a price of 650 CZK per person.

Vinotéka sv. Kláry itself is a unique venue with a stunning view of Prague and the unmistakable atmosphere of a historic vineyard, one of the oldest in the city. It is located within the Prague Botanical Garden, best accessed via the vineyard entrance at the Kovárna ticket office on Trojská Street, near bus stops for lines 112 and 234.
