Light Park Universe

Discover the fascinating mysteries of the universe at the Light Park Universe, a unique exhibition filled with lights and magic. This extraordinary project will transport you to outer space right in the heart of Prague. From November 1, 2024, to January 31, 2025, the Žluté lázně area on the banks of the Vltava River will welcome visitors with half a million lights, giant planets, rockets, astronauts, and flying saucers.

Created in collaboration with leading Czech astronomers, the exhibition takes you on a journey through the wonders of space—from the planets of the solar system to mysterious black holes. Whether you’re a young adventurer or a passionate astronomy enthusiast, there’s something here to captivate everyone.

One of the exhibition’s main highlights is the illuminated models of the solar system planets. These models, up to 5 meters in diameter, are surrounded by a breathtaking starry sky made of thousands of tiny lights. Stroll among them and experience what Earth, Jupiter, or Saturn would look like on a massive scale. It’s an immersive experience that brings the cosmic atmosphere to life.

For the youngest visitors, the interactive light space shuttle with a slide is an exciting attraction. Children can embark on a special space trail led by a fairytale character, Zvonka, guiding them through educational games and activities. They can also explore flying saucers and other spacecraft filled with fun and educational elements.

Witness the mesmerizing spectacle of a mysterious black hole that draws you into its glowing abyss. You can also marvel at illuminated comets and meteors that appear almost alive. These unique decorations not only provide an unforgettable experience but also serve as perfect photo spots to share on social media.

One of the largest attractions is the gigantic illuminated sun, shining brightly throughout the park. Visitors can also explore a light observatory that offers insights into the work of astronomers. This part of the exhibition focuses on space technologies—from satellites to space probes—inviting you to dive into the secrets of science and discovery.

The Light Park Universe is located in the Žluté lázně area, one of Prague’s most picturesque spots. An evening walk along the Vltava River, with views of Prague Castle and Vyšehrad, combined with the unique light effects, promises an unforgettable experience.
