St. Martin’s Fair and Turkey Feast

Visitors can enjoy a rich program from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., featuring great music, demonstrations of traditional crafts, and delicious turkey dishes.

The day will start with the opening of a marketplace filled with regional products, from local foods to handcrafted items showcasing the best of the region. Irish band MALEMIRISH will bring the lively atmosphere of Irish melodies, and entertainers from the Kolín company POPRÁVU will amuse the crowds with juggling and tightrope walking under the motto, “We love to entertain!” promising a joyful show for all ages.

A major highlight is the turkey carving championship, where skilled butchers will compete for the title, along with a sausage-making show that’s sure to delight food lovers. Turkey fans can also compete in a contest for the best turkey schnitzel, and a special challenge for the biggest eaters!

Adding a traditional touch, St. Martin will arrive on a white horse, a classic symbol of these celebrations. For the youngest visitors, there will be a variety of activities, including craft workshops in a heated tent, activities organized by students from SŠ Česká Lípa and SŠHL Frýdlant, and pony rides.

This family-friendly day filled with tradition, music, good food, and a warm atmosphere promises a fantastic experience for all generations.
