On Friday, September 20, the long-awaited exhibition *My Education* by world-renowned American photographer Bruce Weber opened at the House at the Stone Bell gallery in Prague.

This extraordinary retrospective, showcasing five decades of his impressive work, marks Weber’s first major European exhibition.

Bruce Weber is an icon in global photography, particularly in fashion. His images have graced the pages of prestigious magazines like *Vogue*, *GQ*, *W Magazine*, and *Vanity Fair*, and he has collaborated with brands such as Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren. Weber’s photographs often capture young people in intimate and athletic moments, but his work extends far beyond this.

The *My Education* exhibition at the House at the Stone Bell (GHMP) offers visitors a unique glimpse not only into his iconic fashion photography but also into his portraiture, reportage, and landscape work. The exhibition also includes Weber’s music and fashion videos, along with feature films. Visitors can admire the broad scope of his artistic endeavors, which include both fashion icons and significant figures from the cultural and political world, such as Nelson Mandela, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Louise Bourgeois.

The exhibition is housed in one of Prague’s most important historical buildings – the House at the Stone Bell, located on Old Town Square. This Gothic building, once a residence of Czech nobility, is now part of the Prague City Gallery (GHMP) and serves as a cultural venue for major exhibitions and artistic projects.

The House at the Stone Bell is renowned not only for its rich history but also for its beautiful Gothic features, creating a unique atmosphere for presenting both modern and classical art. Situated in the heart of Prague, the Bruce Weber exhibition can easily be paired with a stroll through the Old Town and visits to other cultural landmarks.

This exhibition is undoubtedly a highlight of the cultural calendar, offering a rare opportunity to delve into the world of one of the most influential photographers of our time. The exhibition runs until January 19, 2025, so don’t miss the chance to see works that have shaped modern visual culture.
