From September 19 to 22, 2024, the second edition of the **FALL Festival** will take place at the DOX Centre for Contemporary Art, once again offering a space for unexpected connections between art, literature, and education, as well as fascinating stories and unique experiences.

The festival brings together writers, artists, and other creative personalities across genres, allowing visitors to share in their inspiring “borderlands” – places where different forms of art, ideas, and life experiences intersect.

At a time when our relationships are shaped by social networks, when we are influenced by the recent pandemic, and digitalization has become an integral part of everyday life, the **FALL Festival** offers a chance to slow down and return to personal sharing of ideas and experiences. The festival provides a space for reflecting on the challenges of the contemporary world – from climate change to war in Europe, to questions surrounding artificial intelligence. It is an opportunity to momentarily step into the stories of others, explore new perspectives, and ask whether creativity and empathy are what distinguish us from an AI-driven future.

DOX Centre for Contemporary Art:
The festival will take place at the DOX Centre for Contemporary Art, one of the most prominent cultural venues in Prague. Opened in 2008, it has since become a hub for a wide range of contemporary art, architecture, design, and other creative fields. DOX is known for its innovative approaches to art and social topics, weaving these into interactive and thought-provoking exhibitions. Visitors can not only see contemporary art exhibitions at DOX but also engage in discussions, workshops, and educational programs.

One of the center’s most striking symbols is the Gulliver Airship, which floats above the roof and serves as a space for literary and cultural events. This architectural element perfectly fits DOX’s concept as a place where various forms of art and ideas meet.

Festival Program:
The program includes discussions, author readings, meetings with artists and experts, guided exhibition tours, and unique interdisciplinary workshops. The festival is open to anyone eager to explore new ideas and be inspired by the works of both well-known and emerging authors.

Festival Guests Include:
Petr Borkovec, Alberto Manguel, Alena Machoninová, Marek Torčík, Max Porter, Jan Němec, Quay Brothers, Bianca Bellová, Benjamin Balint, Ali Kazma, Hynek Martinec, Dimitri Verhulst, Josef Bolf, Anna Beata Háblová, Alice Koubová, Tomáš Koblížek, Adam Štech, Magdaléna Platzová, Stefano Carini, Blanka Činátlová, Josefína Formanová, Petr Vizina, and Otto M. Urban.

The FALL Festival is the perfect place for anyone who wants to momentarily escape the hectic world and immerse themselves in inspiring conversations, art, and creative thinking.
