An evening of adventure, humor and inspiration awaits you! We invite you to a screening of the travel documentary film African Ride, where traveller Tomáš Vejmola will take you on a 111-day journey through Africa in a small tuktuk.

Filmed by David Žváček, the journey is full of unexpected challenges, beautiful scenery and encounters with fascinating local tribes that will draw you into the heart of wild Africa.

The film offers not only dramatic moments as the tuktuk faces seemingly insurmountable obstacles, but also plenty of room for laughter and the joy of discovering the unknown. In addition to the screening, you can look forward to a short discussion with Tomas Veimola, who will share his experiences and answer your questions.

Tomas Vejmola

Tomáš Vejmola is a young traveller who decided to travel the world with a smile on his face and preferably in the saddle of a tuktuk. He embarks on challenging expeditions that guarantee powerful and breathtaking experiences, but also hilarious stories that will make you laugh from the bottom of your heart.

When he’s not travelling the world on his tricycle, he guides in Morocco or Georgia, or travels around the Czech Republic, where he talks about his journeys in libraries, cinemas, schools and festivals.In addition, he has written three books about his travels and made a travelogue called From Around the Borders, which is on TV Prima Zoom!

In the book “Tomik’s African Ride” Tomik describes his last adventurous journey by tuktuk through South East Africa, which lasted 111 days and covered an incredible 9000 km. He drove through countries such as South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Tanzania and Uganda.
