Get ready for a weekend full of improvisation led by the ensemble “My kluci, co spolu chodíme.” This unique workshop offers a rare opportunity to delve into the creative processes of four performers, each coming from a different artistic background.
The group, renowned for its ability to freely improvise and blend elements of physical theater, circus, clowning, singing, and text, will guide you through a world where apparent chaos transforms into harmony, and diverse skills and approaches intertwine.
During the weekend workshop, participants will explore various techniques and methods used by the ensemble members—Václav Wortner, Andrej Lyga, Lukas Blaha, and Šimon Pliska—on stage. Each performer will present their unique perspective on improvisation and introduce the tools that help them create distinctive performances.
The workshop will focus on working with props and objects, teaching participants how to move and interact with these items. Wordless improvisation will provide space for developing physical expression, allowing participants to learn how to move both individually and in collaboration with others. Physical comedy and playfulness will be central to exercises that stimulate creativity and enhance teamwork. Improv with music and singing will add another layer to the process, giving participants the chance to experiment with scenes that start with a simple yet intense gaze into a partner’s eyes.
Whether exploring questions of identity and relationships or addressing unresolved issues on stage, this workshop will offer a fresh approach to exploring your acting potential without guidance, inspirations, or scripts.
