Prague to Host the Second Round of the Prestigious Gran Turismo World Series for the First Time on August 10, 2024. Twelve of the top drivers from the EMEA region will compete in the Nations Cup and Manufacturers Cup categories in Gran Turismo™ 7 on PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5 consoles.
The Global Stage of Virtual Racing:
The Gran Turismo World Series is a global competition showcasing the pinnacle of virtual racing, played on PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5 consoles in Gran Turismo™ 7. This tournament features several rounds worldwide, where the best players compete in virtual cars on virtual tracks for the title of world champion. The season began on July 6 in Montreal with the first round, and now the series moves to the heart of Europe to welcome the top racers in historic Prague.
Historic Hybernia Theatre as the Venue:
The Prague leg will take place at the Hybernia Theatre, located in the Old Town. This building, with a rich history dating back to the 17th century, offers a stunning architectural setting that blends history with modern comfort. Its spacious and elegant interiors will be the perfect venue for this exciting event, where spectators can enjoy live races in a unique atmosphere.
The Best of the Best on Stage:
After six rounds of challenging online qualifications, twelve of the top drivers from the Nations Cup and twelve from the Manufacturers Cup will make their way to Prague. These competitors, who have earned their spots against thousands of other players, will face off live before an audience. Their skills and tactical abilities will be pushed to the limit as they compete for prestigious victories and points in the overall series standings.
