You are invited to come to an exhibiton A Lot With Little that showcases the work of architects from around the world who are working on sustainable solutions in housing, education, building transformation and disaster relief. From 7 February until 3 March 2024, you will have the opportunity to come to CAMP (Prague 2) and see projects with a social dimension that have a positive impact not only on the environment but also on the local community. The architects whose work is exhibited here use participation in their work and are not afraid of bold but affordable solutions. They compensate for the lack of financial resources with their creativity.
There is a wide range of examples to see: social housing in the suburbs of Barcelona, rural schools in the Peruvian Amazon, a children’s rehabilitation centre in Asunción, Paraguay, emergency housing for landless Bangladeshi women, but also a school of architecture in Nantes by Pritzker Prize winners Lacaton & Vassal and a technology campus on the shores of Lake Turkana in Kenya by Kéré Architecture.
The widescreen projection invites to an extraordinary journey around a diverse, complex world. Visitors sail through different geographical, cultural, social and economic contexts and discover the issues facing contemporary architecture.
The foreign projects are complemented by Czech realisations in the form of this accompanying catalogue, which bring innovative, clever and low-cost solutions in four selected categories – housing, education, transformation and emergency architecture.
Venue: CAMP – Vyšehradská 51, Praha 2, 128 00
