Prague’s Botanical garden is well-known for its Fata Morgana greenhouse. From this January, the greenhouse will come alive with art. For almost three months (January – April) it will be “inhabited” by 130 objects, plants, mushrooms and animals created by artist Veronika Richterová from collected plastic drink bottles.
Do not hesitate and come to visit this unique and colourful jungle full of fantastic plants.
The inspiration for this plants comes from various travels to Cambodia, Japan and other countries.
The works are arranged according to habitats, so in the first part, which is dedicated to dry-loving plants, there are various succulents, cacti or bamboos. The second part of the tropical rainforest is devoted to tropical plants and the last part of the greenhouse, which presents the flora of mountainous regions, features mainly fungi and carnivorous plants.
