Advent Day with technicians

On Saturday 9 December, the Technicians’ Station in Prague will host a traditional event – Advent Day with Technicians. It will again take place in the outdoor and indoor areas of our house. You can look forward to the popular baking and decorating of gingerbread houses, workshops with a Christmas theme and, of course, several winter sports activities that will take place even in the absence of snow.

At 11:00 there will be a puppet fairy tale The Little Sheep of Bethlehem by Damúza Studio. In the afternoon, you can also look forward to performances by pupils from the music and theatre departments. Both indoor tracks and the tram simulator will be open. Weather permitting, the garden track will also be open. At the end, we will again sing our favourite Christmas carols in front of the tram with the Sonaglio choir under the direction of Eva Pavelková.

For the second year, there will also be a SWAP of board games and toys or an exchange (bring something – take something away) and the decorating of our tram, which this year will be lit until at least Three Kings Day.

And to make sure you don’t freeze to death, we’ll have hot soft drinks and snacks ready for you like a proper Christmas fair.
