Pinot Noir Day

On 18 August, there is a worldwide celebration of Pinot Noir Day. Pinot Noir is the key and most popular variety at the St. Clare Vineyard in Troja. For this day, Prague’s Botanical garden (Vineyard) have prepared for you a free mini tasting of four samples of different forms of Ruland wine from the St. Clare Vineyard.

The good vintages offer red wine with excellent potential for long-term ageing. The tasting will feature Pinot Noir from the 2015, 2018 and 2019 vintages, and a trio of red wines will be complemented by rosé from the 2022 vintage. Exceptionally, a sample of Pinot Noir rosé brut will also be available.

Tokens for the mini-tasting will be available for purchase at the wine bar on the day – 160 CZK/4 samples. A sample of Pinot Noir rosé brut will cost an extra CZK 110.

Taste the range of flavours that one grape variety can offer in one vineyard.

There is no reservation needed for the tasting.

Venue: St. Clare Vineyard
Date: 18.8.2023
