International Polar Bear Day

Are you interested in animals? Would you like to know more about polar bears? If yes, do not hesitate to come to Prague’s Zoo this weekend (25.2.) and enjoy the celebration of International Polar Bear Day! This nice day will be accompanied by great programme which will keep you excited fro the whole day. The event is family-friendly, so bring your children as well as there is going to be also Game stations Arktida.

Programme:

10.00, 12.00 and 14.00 guided meetings at the polar bears.
Meet Tom and discover interesting facts about the life of polar bears.
11.00 Passing of the enrichment element
Find out how we care for the bears at the zoo and what we do for their well-being during a guided enrichment element handover.
10.00-16.00 Arctic play area
Visit educational and play stations focused on polar bears and other animals of the polar regions and learn about the new Arctic exhibit project.

In case you don’t know what enrichment element for animals is, basically it is something which includes puzzle feeders that encourage them to forage for food, climb to some structures as well as training sessions where animals can interact with keepers.
