Follow in the footsteps of some of the greatest jazz musicians our world has ever seen, like Miles Davis, at Jazz à la Villette.
La Villette and the Philharmonie de Paris present ten days of vibrant jazz concerts spread around seven different intimate venues within the city (including La Dynamo de Banlieues Bleues, l’Atelier du Plateau and Studio de l’Ermitage).
From traditional sounds to more modern ones incorporating hip-hop, soul and funk, this year’s line-up is more exciting than ever! If you know your jazz musicians, some of the artists playing include Alice Russell, Mahalia, Makaya Mccraven, Tinariwen, Knower, Kamaal Williams, Quatuor François Jeanneau, Kenny Garrett, Brad Mehldau Trio, Curtis Harding, Blues Blood and The Strangers by Immanuel Wilkins.
