Ameri Cane is a musical, jazzy and very personal story about a man. About a middle-aged man with long, curly hair, in a white suit. About a man singing the Italian phrases of Fred Buscaglione and speaking – less beautifully – with the words of Charles Bukowski. About a man who describes himself like this:
“I passed the neighborhood, I drank
the city I drove out the country
I pissed myself on the universe.
there is not much to do. ”
But she sings beautifully.
