English for Tour Guides is a very popular project that offers a series of online lessons. The course is aimed primarily at tourist guides and cultural operators, but is open to all who work in the artistic, cultural and tourist sectors. Anyone who wants to improve their language skills in this area can take part.
Topics will include: meeting with clients, presentation and course of the tour, illustration of cultural heritage, leisure tips and useful information.
The lessons will have an interactive approach based on role-playing and storytelling, learning strategies applied to historical-artistic / archaeological explanations or simulating real situations that they often encounter in the world of tourists.
The content of the course will be adjusted based on the needs and requirements of the participants.
Lessons are led by Dr. Tristram Bruce, an English DOC, as well as an art historian and mother tongue teacher with twenty years of experience.
This online lesson will take place through the Zoom platform, where you will communicate not only with the teacher, but also with other members of the course.
It is necessary to make a reservation because the number of participants is limited.
