The refresher course in the city of Siena is starting. Beginning on October 9th until February 25th, 2021. A 50-hour webinar plus 30 hours of external visits with teachers Nicola Bernini, Lorenzo Grazzini, and Luca Leoni. Lorenzo Grazzini, a tour guide specialized in the Renaissance, will introduce the history of the city of Siena from the Middle Ages to the Medici, from the conquest to the passage of the Lorraine. Nicola Bernini, an art historian, will continue with the history of the Via Francigena and the Sienese territory, the modern palio, and Santa Maria della Scala. Luca Leoni, an art historian, will talk about the Cathedral of the Assumption, the mendicant orders, and the great Sienese families.
