A great cry of love

A great cry of love with Barbara De Rossi and Francesco Branchetti is a show that will open the new season of the Teatro degli Audaci in Rome
At the center of the story are the protagonists Gigì Ortega and Hugo Martial, actors and a very famous couple years before, until her abandonment of the scenes and the consequent decline of his career. The sudden renunciation of an actress, starring with Martial in a show ready for its debut, provides the agent with the pretext to try to form the legendary couple again and ensure the success of the show. Hence a series of tricks and cheats to convince the actors to get back together and a series of hilarious situations and misunderstandings in an often explosive atmosphere, full of suspense but also of tenderness.
The direction also intends to restore to the text the extraordinary ability to investigate the human soul and the tortuous relationships we have with ourselves and then with others; anxieties, fears, illnesses, melancholies, pains, loneliness merge in a frenzied dance in which comic moments alternate with moments steeped in profound humanity and poetry, which drags us into the “private” of a relationship, a relationship, an encounter between a man and a woman.
Come and enjoy this show on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd October at 9pm and Sunday 4th October at 6pm.
