Exhibition in the Villa of Albert Sordi. Alberto Sordi’s Villa will open its doors to the public on September 16, 2020, on the occasion of the master’s centenary. An exhibition will take place in the premises of his home, where you can see the rooms in which he lived, to see various expensive objects that are kept there. There will also be a huge screen where scenes from his films will be shown.
Alberto Soldi was an acclaimed Italian actor, director, screenwriter, singer and composer. He was born on June 15, 1920 in Trastevere and as a child he devoted himself to the theater. He is one of the best and most important figures in Italian cinema. We can see him in more than 130 films. He won a Golden Globe for his role in The Devil in 1963. He was considered the king of Italian comedy. Among other things, he devoted himself to writing and radio and died in 2003 at the age of 82.
His house, where the exhibition will take place, was built in the 1930s according to the plans of the architect Clemente Busiri Vici.
