Innsbruck Virtual Tour

29.04.2020 - 31.12.2020

The city of Innsbruck has set up a website where you can experience the life of Innsbruck people and get a taste of the atmosphere of this magnificent city near the Alps. The city itself is the capital of the Tyrol region and overall, the 5th biggest city in the country. It is located between the mountains therefore many people have decided to call it “Capital of the Alps”

The city has many sights worth seeing. Whether it be sports landmarks such as Bergisel Ski Jump where every year the Ski Jumping World Cup takes place or historical monuments such as St. Anne´s Column, Ambras Castle, Innsbruck Imperial Palace or Old Inn Bridge which gave name to the city itself. Churches, fountains, lots of cozy cafés and of course a beautiful view of the Alps. Innsbruck is for sure a paradise hidden in the Austrian mountains.

Through the link provided below, you´ll have a chance to experience the classical Innsbruck from your own couch. On the website of the city, you´ll find 12 360° videos in virtual reality which offer events such as Christmas Market, Tyrol evening, the performance of a boy choir and many more. You´ll be able to choose from the menu and decide which video you want to see or if you want to visit the city alone or check out the Nordkette mountain as well. It does not matter if you have a VR headset or just a phone. Both of those will provide you with a great and fun experience. You will certainly not be bored.
