Vegan delicacies await all visitors to the Westend Roof Garden all day on 21 May. For the spring market, the organisers will not only be preparing kitchen ingredients, food and drinks, but also handicraft treasures. Among the wide range of products on offer will be cheese specialities, cookies, sandwiches, syrups and even soaps. If that would not be enough, there will also be a surprise programs and wokshops for visitors.

The Community Vegan Market is looking forward to welcoming you again in May, meet us at the VEGAN WEEKEND MARKET!

We welcome you, your friends and all those interested in starting the summer with a limited supply and a community experience: kitchen ingredients, delicious food, drinks, CF products, handcrafted munchies and the VSM community await you at the Vegan Weekend Market in May!

You’ll be able to shop at our Spring Market:

vegan cheese specialties; cookies; sandwiches; chili sauces; artisan vegan soaps, lotions and cleansers; zerowaste products; dried fruit blocks; seeded bars; vegan bonbons; hamburgers; raw cakes and bars; delicious syrups; smoothies; savory appetizers; spreads and dunking goodies, all vegan, of course.

11:30 Introducing the four founders of Tegyünk a Bolygónkért/Let’s Do Something for Our Planet – a discussion with activists Anna Acsai, Katica Ilauszki, Tamás Drexler and Attila Csák

12:00 Cooking and discussion on stage: Veganism, Spiritual journey, Foods, spices, lives. – Krisztina Kelemen Bhagti Kaur with a member of the Hungarian Sikh community, Maveg volunteers with Judit Csernai and Krisztina Vári-Nagy

13:30 The synergies between plant-based and cell-cultured products – Presentation by Zoltán Bakonyi, Business Development Manager, V-Label ProVeg Germany

14:00 Veganism and pharmacy – Presentation by Dr. Vivien Herkei

15:00 Paritossh Sukumar – Journey around curry, what you didn’t dare to ask about curry. Cooking and discussion in ENGLISH with Judit Csernai

16:00 Vegan Food for School – Presentation by Oliver Czirok, Gergely Haga, András Putz

Workshops

11:00 – 12:00 French toast for breakfast – with Krisztina Vári Nagy

15:00 – 16:00 Making raw energy balls with beetroot – with Zolt Püspöki, Vice President of Maveg
