After the break up of Birthday Party in 1983 Nick Cave founded a new band The Bad Seeds, which was named after the first EP of the same name. By its side, Cave became one of the most original and respected artists of the alternative rock and post-punk scene not only in the 1980s. Cave sings songs in which he explores the darkest in us from many perspectives. The brutal sincerity and ability to create physically resonating dramatic compositions of Cave distinguishes him from his peers. Countless musicians have gone through The Bad Seeds in almost forty years of history. They have always stood faithfully with their leader, and this is not the case today, when together they released the seventeenth record, which is referred to as one of the highlights of their career.
