Folk art and modern design will coexist in the Holešovice market’s Hall 17 during the Advent fair. There will be a variety of Christmas decorations on exhibit and for sale, including carnival masks, Wallachian split doves, Czech kanafas and pieces by up-and-coming designers who drew inspiration from traditional craftsmanship.
The exhibition will also include a Wallachian village with a crib made of sheep fleece. Embroidery with fish scales, doves made of split wood or handmade paper, all these traditional techniques, come and try out the unique workshops and create your own Christmas gift or decoration. Workshop capacity is limited, advance registration is required.
