Castelli di Cioccolato – Chocolate Festival

The Castelli Romani (Roman Castelli – towns near Rome) present „Castelli di Cioccolato“, the event dedicated to the „food of the Gods“.

With the autumn in Marino the Italian chocolate artisans return. From Friday 11th to Sunday 13th October 2019 the 8th edition of Castelli di Cioccolato starts, the event dedicated to the pleasure of taste and the palate dedicated to families, children, young people and adults who share a passion for the “ food of the Gods ”.

A weekend in the heart of the Roman Castles where in the streets of the city you can abandon yourself to every „sin of gluttony“ with tastings of delicacies made with the finest cocoa, offered by the chocolatiers during the whole itinerary.

Among the novelties this year is the „experiential laboratory“ conceived by Veronica Torricelli, a psychologist specializing in eating disorders , where you can embark on an emotional journey by exploring the world of chocolate through the use of the five senses.

On Saturday 12th October, at 6.00 pm, chef Elvio Ferrelli will try to prepare delicious “ Chocolate brownies”With cream and berries. At the end of the demonstration, the cakes will be offered to the guests present in the stand.

There will also be laboratories dedicated to children, but the absolute novelty of this VIII edition is the I Contest „Torte di Castelli di Cioccolato“ , the amateur confectionery competition to be held on Sunday at 6pm.

The „appetizing“ appointment with chocolate masters from all over Italy is always from 10am to 10pm.
