You may look forward to a varied cultural and educational programme for adults and the little ones such as video mapping, music, theatre, workshops, lectures, debates, exhibitions or audiovisual installations. Join over 100 programme points and see 400 organisations and listen to various performers.

Can you imagine 17 November without Prayers for Martha? No way, this year it will be heard again at 17:11, performed by Hana Holišová from the balcony of the Metro Palace. This year with live painted video mapping from 17:00.
At 13:00, the National Anthem will be sung by the Moravian native Annamária d’Almeida.

Traditionally, the memorial site on Národní třída will be lit with candles in memory of those who fought for freedom. Can’t you come to light a candle in person? Write a message online and we will light the candle for you, plus you can watch it all live.

Start your day with a good brunch from Antonín’s Bakery! The breakfast will be accompanied by the CTU orchestra and the proceeds will go to help single mothers who are helped by Fandi Mums.

This year, the Václav Havel Living Room will be dedicated to Olga Havel on the occasion of her 90th birthday. Personalities from the world of culture and public affairs will read from contemporary literature and Havel’s works dedicated to the post-revolutionary First Lady. For example, Martha Issová, Jan Cina or Linda Bartošová.
