One of the best things about summer in Krakow is the variety of outdoor cinema places. It’s a perfect alternative to the indoor cinema and a great idea to spend a warm summer evening with friends or go on a date with your special ones. With plenty of tender nights on the horizon, it’s the perfect time to watch in a movie under the stars. And luckily for movie buffs, there are some open-air places for every taste, whether you prefer an artsy solo viewing or heading out with the whole family. 🎬 Summer Cinema at the Józef Czapski Pavilion

Every year the National Museum in Krakow invites visitors to a summer cinema. This year’s repertoire of Summer Cinema in the Józef Czapski Pavilion was mastered by the French cinema. You can see films every Saturday from July 6 to September 28, 2019. Foreign films are broadcast in original languages with Polish subtitles and the admission is free.
P. S. In the case of rain, the screenings will take place in the audiovisual room of the Czapski Palace which has a limited number of 50 seats.

🤩 Summer Cinema at MOCAK

Every Friday from 5 July to 30 August you are invited to the MOCAK for evening film screenings related to the exhibition «Nature in Art».
Nature is an important structural element of the film world, but its function is not limited to decoration – on its background human with his affairs turns out to be only an episode in a powerful process of transformation dictated by the slow rhythm of nature. Selected proposals show a wide spectrum of possibilities in which nature is presented and used in the cinema.
Admission costs 1 PLN and all the films have Polish subtitles.

🎬 Cinema at Centrum Kultury Dworek Białoprądnicki “Kino pod białoprądnicką chmurką”

Here you can watch the Oscar-winning top films of the last years on summer Saturdays till the end of August. For example, „Grand Budapest Hotel“, „Green book „, „La La Land“ and many others. The films will be screened from 21:30 and entrance are free! Also before the screening, you can enjoy some live music. So feel free to come earlier and meet with your friends before watching a movie.
Films will be in English with Polish subtitles.

🤩 BAL Outdoor Cinema

BAL Outdoor Cinema in Zabłocie presents top movies twice a week on Thursday and Saturday evenings. In the repertoire, there are the world best films, some European cinema and also documentaries. This is a great combination since here you can find cafe&bar which use their outdoor space as a cinema. So you can order food and drinks at the cafe and enjoy a movie!
And yes, entrance is free and films will be in English with Polish subtitles.

🎬Outdoor screenings at the courtyard of Pod Baranami Palace.
Address: 27 Rynek Główny
Between 28 June and 29 August, Pod Baranami Cinema hosts the 13th Summer Cinema Harvest – the only summertime film festival in Kraków where tickets cost only 8 PLN. During 9 weeks nearly 130 films will be screened.
Selected Polish and foreign films will be presented with English subtitles.
The programme of the festival includes absolute film classics and recent best ones. Among classic films, there are Roman Holidays and Breakfast at Tiffany’s. The long list of novelties holds many winners of prestigious awards (including the Oscars), for example: Green Book, Vice, The Favorite or BlacKkKlansman.
