Borgo Manforte Beer Festival

After the great success of last year, on Wednesday 10 July Borgo Manforte kicks off , the Festival dedicated to beer, music and good food that inaugurates the summer season of the local Manforte in Talenti.

Eight appointments are coming for this second edition which will offer every Wednesday a fascinating journey to discover the beers of Birra del Borgo , the brewery founded by Leonardo di Vincenzo in Borgorose, a small town in the province of Rieti, in the nature reserve of the Duchess mountains. The basic idea of ​​Birra del Borgo has always been to rethink the classic idea of ​​beer and find the right ingredients to characterize the beers, making them unique without ever distorting them.

Starting from July 10th, every Wednesday until August 28th, the garden of Manforte will become the stage for eight events in which beer and food will be the undisputed protagonists accompanied by Italian music cover bands. The large and welcoming outdoor space of the Talenti room, lit by garlands of lights and furnished with benches, chairs and tables of wood and iron, is a perfect place in summer to make great tables with friends, tasting bruschetta, pizza and burger, sipping excellent beer and listening to good live music under the stars.

Wednesday, July 10: “MAUOMO” a tribute to Madonna, the band will interpret the most famous songs of the queen of pop in a masculine key. The evening is combined with the Royal beer, the first beer brewed in Borgorose, an India Pale Ale that continues to be one of the most beloved of Birra del Borgo.

Wednesday, July 17: “It is DIFFICULT to EXPLAIN” the homage band Fiorella Mannoia and the Italian songwriting. All accompanied by Duchessa beer, a saison that conquers with its pleasantness and its fresh elegance.

Wednesday 24th July: The Royal Extra, American Pale Ale will be the protagonist of the third appointment with the live musical accompaniment of “BIG CEDARS” in “Ancora tu” the timeless production of the Battisti-Mogol duo rediscovered in its essence and enhanced by elegant vocal arrangements.

Wednesday 31 July: “DISCANTO” is a tribute with words and music to Ivano Fossati, one of the greatest living Italian songwriters through his most famous songs, those written for other artists up to little known little masterpieces. Cursed beer in combination, a Belgian Ale that represents the meeting point between Belgian and Anglo-Saxon brewing culture.

Wednesday, August 7: ” CIRIBIRIBIN ITALIAN SWING ORCHESTRA” is a musical project that will make you discover in an engaging, elegant and fun way, the swing songs that have characterized the history of Italian music, from the 20s to today. An event not to be missed even at the table with My Antonia, the imperial pilsner or as Birra del Borgo calls a “tough” blonde to fall in love with.

Wednesday, August 14: OI NE ‘will offer a beautiful tribute to Pino Daniele and his record production revisited by the band and interpreted by a female voice that emphasizes the Mediterranean nuances. To accompany the evening Genziana, a spiced Ale made with gentian root dominated by peppery, undergrowth and floral scents.

Wednesday 21st August: “WE ARE HOW WE ARE” interprets the works of two great Italian artists Mia Martini and Loredana Berté in combination with the Bikini, a blanche produced only for the summer period, a very fresh beer, soft and elegant, with an unmistakable spicy profile.

Wednesday, August 28th : last appointment with “THE BILLBOARDS”, a tribute to the greatest Anglo-Saxon successes went to n. # 1 of the famous Billboard ranking from the 60s to the present, combined with La Saracena, a beer with a very high percentage of tartaric buckwheat born from the experimental craving of Birra del Borgo on raw materials.
