🌞 Colours of Ostrava
This international multi-genre music festival has been held in Lower Vítkovice since 2013, in an industrial area of abandoned mines, smelters and iron works with a unique atmosphere. Twice has Colours of Ostrava won the Angel Award for the Music Event of the Year, and it also picked up the award for the best music event of the year several times in the ALMA survey (Akropolis Live Music Awards) in the category of concert/festival of the year.

Beats for Love is a music festival focused on electronic music. It takes place each year in Ostrava, at the site of the industrial landmark of Lower Vítkovice. The environment of Lower Vítkovice, full of iron rapids, for four days is filled with plenty of music and a rich program. This creates a unique atmosphere full of fun and experiences. The fourteen scenes of the festival feature the best worldwide and local artists and DJs as well as performers, dance groups, graphic artists and street artists, digital artists and artists focused on various types of audio-visual art. This is one of the most visited music events in the Czech Republic.

The launch of this music festival which has now become truly iconic took place in 1995. At that time it did not look like one of the largest cultural events of the Czech Republic at all – only about 1000 people bought tickets to listen to 18 bands over 15 hours. Today everything is different: tens of thousands of music fans come to Hradec Králové to see the world’s most famous bands.

Karlovy Vary International Film Festival is well-established film celebration. Celebrated in July, it attracts well-known international stars, with Robert De Niro, Richard Gere and Annette Bening showing up there at some time.R ita Hayworth was the visitor of respect at the specific first celebration in 1946. It has been organized for decades and is Central and Eastern Europe’s most prominent film event. 🌞 České hrady Festival
Hrady CZ is a summer cultural festival which has two parts – Czech castles.CZ and Moravské hrady.CZ. The 15th edition of this project will take place during the summer of 2019 at important Czech and Moravian historical monuments in eight different regions of the Czech Republic. The program of the festival is based on performances of the top Czech and Slovak musicians.

The Mácháč Festival is the largest domestic beach open-air festival that has been a traditional end of the dance season for fourteen years. the biggest hip hop festival in Central and Eastern Europe, announces its 18th year. The giant party, which CNN has repeatedly ranked among the 50 best festivals in the world, will be held again at the Festivalpark in Hradec Králové. Every year fans and stars of hip hop culture come to Hradec.
🌞 Mighty Sounds Festival
The Mighty Sounds Festival is a unique three-day music event, which is annually held in July near the Czech City of Tábor. The festival focuses primarily on punk and punk rock, rock’n’roll, hardcore, reggae, ska, rockabilly, indie rock and other styles of music that are derived from, or closely related to, these styles. One of the things that make this festival special is a large number of foreign bands present. More than 80% of the lined-up bands are from outside of the Czech Republic. Of course, there are also top Czech bands representing the above different styles of music. So, Might Sounds is something different and something special – not at all like a typical Czech music festival.
