Roma Summer Fest is the summer music festival produced by the Musica per Roma Foundation in the unique venue in the world of the Auditorium Parco della Musica auditorium designed by Renzo Piano. Over two months of live concerts with the greatest Italian and international stars of rock and pop, the great protagonists of jazz and auteur music. For quantity and quality of the proposals in a limited period of time, Roma Summer FestIt is certainly one of the most important festivals in the world that in recent years has also hosted world tour debuts. Almost 1,000,000 spectators have attended concerts of the likes of Elton John, Sting, Bjork, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, The National, Paolo Conte, Fiorella Mannoia, José Carreras, Dario Fo, Franco Battiato, Patti Smith, Arctic Monkeys, Simple Minds, Ringo Starr.
The Auditorium’s incredible architectural space designed by Renzo Piano, the Cavea, will host the new summer festival of the Fondazione Musica per Roma – Roma Summer Fest. From several feet away, the audience will have the opportunity to listen to the most interesting musical pieces of the international music scene while enjoying the quality acoustics of this unique venue.
