„Brag“ Trio in Concerto at Cotton Club

„BRAG“ is the new trio of pianist / composer Alberto Giraldi. Director of the „L. Refice“ Conservatory of Frosinone. It was born from an idea of ​​collaboration and friendship with the drummer / percussionist Stefano Rossini. BRAG trio is an acronym that mixes the initials of the composer A. Giraldi with the Brazilian musical style, in fact all the proposed compositions are original and in key Brasilian Jazz.

In this concert they invite the Brazilian saxophonist Sergio Galvao, an extraordinary musician who has played with many of the most important Brazilian artists (Rosa Passos, Simone, Roberto Menescal, Guinga, Roberto Carlos, Dori Caymmi, Djavan, and Motta, Jorge Benjor, Seu Jorge , Leny Andrade, Leila Pinheiro, Beto Guedes), in 2014 he recorded a record of Brasilian Jazz in the United States which received 2 nominations for the grammy awards in two categories: best Latin jazz album and best solo jazz saxophonist.

The concert will also feature the special participation of Gianluca Persichetti, guitar teacher at the „U. Giordano“ Conservatory of Foggia, one of the greatest Italian guitarists of the Brasilian Jazz genre.
