Eataly Wine Festival 2019

Back to Eataly Roma the largest event dedicated to wine with Eataly Wine Festival 2019 , scheduled for the evenings of May 10 and 11 to discover and taste the great Italian names, with a sensory journey from North to South, dedicated to all lovers from the world of wine. It will also be a unique event to meet producers, but also sommeliers and industry experts. An event not to be missed for enthusiasts and curious people who want to enrich and expand their wine culture through an interesting journey through the Italian territory with producers, tasting courses and show cooking.

Many scheduled activities including „The Bottle Circle“ : four meetings with producers, two on each day of the event. In these events, the protagonists of some of the Festival’s guest cellars will tell their most exclusive labels. Furthermore, on May 10 the tasting course will be alternated with the challenge between „Sangiovese vs Pinot Nero“ and the cooking show curated by Geppy Sfera and Marco Mezzaroma who will present their new ice cream restaurant project, where gastronomy meets and traditional ice cream parlor.

There will also be a food area with guests from the Roman catering world who, together with Eataly, will offer a wide selection of interesting gastronomic proposals. Among the guests of the Food Area: the chef Paolo Trippini with the Bosco Umbro, the new format of Barra – Pescheria with kitchen that arrives in Rome with its second restaurant in Via dei Banchi Vecchi and Geppy Sferra with its original and brand new Gelato D’Essai.
