The Japanese since ancient times have cultivated an intimate bond with nature, made of attention and respect. The traditional arts have drawn constant inspiration from it. The Ikebana or Kado (via dei fiori) is a codified art since 1500 and is one of the most significant expressions of this profound and heartfelt communion with Nature. Creating floral compositions through the knowledge of the rules and the aesthetic canons of this art is allowing oneself to „pause“ in a space of calm and concentration and an opportunity to get in touch with the vitality of nature and its inexhaustible beauty, drawing from it joy and inner fulfillment.
„I have been practicing and teaching this art for almost 20 years and still discover its inexhaustible richness every time,“ says the teacher, Antonietta Ferrari.
The practice will be preceded by notes on the presence of spring and summer flower varieties in art and literary tradition.
In this series of meetings we will study the traditional Nageire style, in a high vase, in its forms
