Immortal mortals, treasures of Sichuan in ancient China, the exhibition
The Exhibition is held under the guidance of the Sichuan Provincial Cultural Office and sponsored by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Italy . The aim of the exhibition is to introduce the evocative features of the Shu tradition , told through sophisticated bronze masks and through dedication to the cult of the sun. The exhibition project focuses on two main themes contained in a suggestive overview.

The first is the one dedicated to the ” Religious culture of the state of Shu “, to the spiritual world of an ancient civilization whose wealth was represented by the bronze masks coming from the excavations of the Sanxingdui site, of Jinsha and from the cemetery of the village of Shuangyuan in Qingyuanjiang district. The second tells ” The daily life of the Shu people “, reconstructing the commercial plots developed in the Sichuan area through bas-reliefs of brick of the Han dynasty, human figures, ceramic figurines in the shape of animals and other objects coming from excavation areas.
