About everything that is happening now – I am silent (Józef Wittlin). The rebellious orchestra, however, constantly sings. About sailing ships for which there are no places (Wladyslaw Szlengel). About the knight’s hunt in the shadow of the alcove (Zuzanna Ginczanka). About Polish colonies and Beck’s Island (Tadeusz Hollender). About white-haired workers, who take softly thin white (Ginczanka). The rebellious courtyard band ‚Hanba!‘ is a fictitious musical tale whose heroes brand the evil of the world around them in the late 1930s: hatred, social inequality, militarism, chauvinism, anti-Semitism. They are supported by the poets (both well – Tuwim, Broniewski, and less – Szenwald, Szlengel, Ginczanka – known) and yard instruments (banjo, drum, accordion, tuba and clarinet).
