Georgian cuisine is still relatively underrepresented in Berlin. For no reason – as the Restorani Tbilisi near the underground station Schönhauser Allee proves. Ingredients such as pomegranate, walnuts and fresh spices and herbs give the dishes a special taste. One of the classics is the Georgian national dish Khachapuri, a dough speciality with cheese or in other variations with butter and fried egg. In addition, traditional skewers and stews with lamb, veal and lots of vegetables as well as numerous vegetarian starters are offered.
