Earth Hour 2018

Earth Hour is the world’s largest grassroots movement for climate change, encouraging people to turn off any unnecessary electric lights or appliances for an hour at 8:30pm on 24 March. Dubai was the first city in the Arab world to take part in Earth Hour back in 2008, and the city’s residents are encouraged to take part in the environmentally-friendly event again this year. Anyone can take part, just by switching their electrical devices off, but DEWA will be hosting a family-friendly festival at Marasi Promenade in the heart of Business Bay, with a walkathon set to take place during Earth Hour.
