Bicycle Parade

The “I Bike Budapest” team is waiting for you to join a bike parade, where you can support the creation of an livable, bike-friendly capital city. At the event, you can also join the Cargobike team, or you can ride to the start together with different groups. What’s more, in Lower-Nagyrét, you can take over the meadow both before and after the bike ride, where Panda will provide the great beats.

Come with us, cycle through the city like no other time!
Let’s make Budapest a bike city. A joy ride and demonstration for a Budapest where everyone can ride a bike. Because where it’s good to ride, it’s good to live.
We want to make the Chain Bridge congestion-free and passable after the complete renovation.
In the summer we have to decide on the final traffic regime for the Chain Bridge.
We ask you to support a congestion-free Chain Bridge, support a liveable and bikeable Budapest!
And in summer, vote for a passable Chain Bridge!

ROUTE: Heroes’ Square- Andrássy road- József Attila street- Chain bridge – Alagút – Alagút street- Attila road- Döbrentei square- Raoul Wallenberg wharf – Valdemar and Nina Langlet wharf – Petőfi bridge- Közraktár street – Salkaházi Sára wharf – Jane Haining wharf – Antall J. wharf – Margaret bridge – Schulek Frigyes promenade – Lower-nagyrét, Margaret Island

Ride to the start as a team! Join a local group or organise it yourself! If you organize one, have 3-4 organizing partners, send us the Facebook event with the route, and be sure to be there!
Shared ROUTES:
-Szentendre + Békásmegyer + Óbuda -> I bike BP
-I bike VÁC & BP bike parade and star tour

-Picnic & music at the Lower-Nagyrét:
Blankets, food, frisbee, the meadow is yours before and after the bike ride. Panda will provide the music.
-I Cargobike Budapest
Musical cargo team on the go. Feel free to ask them!
-The coolest I bike Budapest T-shirts:
Support the Cycling Club’s/Kerékpárosklub’s work for cycling development and we’ll give you I bike Budapest t-shirts in return for your donation. You can find us at the start and in the meadow, but it’s best to shop in advance in our webshop.
