Join this years‘ the Celtic Telegraph, which will as always happen also in Prague (Prague 6)! Annually, it takes place during the last weekend of March and its main aim is to to connect places in the landscape and especially the participants of the telegraphing itself, i.e. the so-called devils. They were known as the guardians of the signal locations and the sacred fire in Celtic times. This is similar to the old practise of sending messages from hill to hill using fires. Celtic tribes in our area honed this technology. It was also widely employed in the Medieval Ages, when hilltop strongholds and watch castles were constructed. The Celtic Telegraph website has a map with the locations and times of the fires.
